Issue Firmware has been released that addresses the following: Ver: 8.9.0 • When HD content in YouTube reaches the end, YouTube occasionally crashes and the TV displays no video. 8.7.0 • Corrected the purple picture issue when using Sony Media Player (NSZ-GS7) on HDMI inputs. • Incorporated a new certificate for YouTube Leanback App. See notes below.
NOTES: * The YouTube Leanback App will not be available on firmware versions (8.5.0 and older) after July 7, 2013 due to the CA operational change by Google. * The YouTube Leanback App should be available until August 2018 with firmware version (8.7.0) Previous Releases Ver:.8.5.0 • General performance has been improved. Procedure>Update the firmware via the internet: • Connect your TV to your home network. • Press the Menu key on the remote control. • Select Get Help and press the Enter key.
• Select Software Upgrade and press the Enter key. • Follow the On Screen Instructions for updating the TV firmware.
